The Vindicator was developed in our Security Solutions Campaign to deal with those pesky boosters who just wouldn’t die!  Only a highly modified character can fire the basic version without a bipod or tripod.  After the various GMs saw what it could do we allowed the player who created it one game year of sales before we restricted it to military and police use only.  Of course that never stopped a determined cyberpunk from getting their hands on one.  As a character Opium ended up owning another PC, Caitlin Jones, a biogentic human/housecat construct of the BioWorks Corporation (from the Rust Never Sleeps netbook, a wonderful resource!).  When not working as a freelance assassin, Caitlin learned the weaponsmith skill from Opium and also became one of her company’s top salespersons before being unmasked and hunted in our Super Solo 2 Campaign, which is written up in our Campaign Archives Section.The ACPA version has dual reciprocating barrels, hence its increased rate of fire.  It has the following addition stats: 2 spaces, 25SP, 35 SDP, dual barrels, linked firing system, it cannot be fired at multiple targets in the same round.

This is a small pump action grenade launcher that is usually mounted on the underside of the Opium Streetsweeper SMG.  It can be bought separately with its own stock and grips.

This massive weapon is a five barreled reciprocating 4 gauge ET enhanced shotgun.  It is made of titanium and orbital steel. The barrels are lined with heat resistant polymers to allow extended auto fire and it is fired two handed.  It has hydro shock recoil compensation and a shock absorbing stock/grip to that ensures accurate auto fire eliminating the standard ROF penalties incurred by shotguns.  By book standards this weapon could be fired by a heavily modified human, but make no mistake, that is NOT possible.  It takes at minimum an Alpha class cyborg with cyber-steroids.    Anything less does not have the strength or mass.

It can be externally mounted on a ACPA torso (shoulder) as long as the suit has a strength of 25 or more at the cost of 3 spaces.  It can also be arm mounted on a suit with a strength rating of 50 or higher and again at the cost of 3 spaces.  Under no circumstances can it be internally mounted.  In ACPA form it is 35 SP and 45 SDP.

It was first used in our Super Solo 2 Campaign.  The GM was shocked as it shredded a heavily armored combat robot like tissue paper and ended that session’s major combat encounter in two shots.  No player has ever been able to talk one of our GM’s into having one again for another character!  Our players haven’t complained as we have a “rule”.  If you have a toy, then your   opponents usually have access to the same toy.  No one wants to get shot by this!

This is the weapon that the Boss Arms recoil system was originally built for.  The system’s 30% reduction lowers the BOD minimum from its normal of 6 to 5.  The weapon is named for the   inventor’s sister, Essence.  When this weapon appeared on the market, it wasn’t long before governments labeled it for military and police use only.  It and the ET version have attained great popularity with SWAT units.  Nomad groups favor it for dealing with heavily armored opponents.  It can NOT have an extended clip!  It used APDS ammunition which is AP and does NOT halve after armor!
